About
A ledger for the AI-agent economy.
FinAgentHub is a newsletter for freelancers, remote builders, and solo-agency owners working out how much financial authority to hand an AI agent — and exactly how to bound it.
Independent workers already run their own back office: invoicing, tax set-asides, retirement, an emergency fund that has to survive months without new client work. A new tool just showed up for that back office — an AI agent — and almost nobody has worked out how much of it to actually hand over. That's the gap this newsletter covers, one concrete question at a time, instead of general AI hype.
What "bounded" means here
An agent that watches your transactions and flags something odd is useful. An agent with no limit on what it can move is a liability. Everything we write comes back to the same lens: not "should you use AI for money," but which specific task, with what specific cap, reviewed how often. We call that bounded autonomy, and it's the difference between a tool that earns more trust over time and one that costs you money the first time it's wrong.
What you'll actually get
- A weekly issue, every Sunday: real developments in agentic finance, one deep-dive concept, a tool worth knowing about, and reader questions answered.
- A free Financial AI Literacy Test that tells you which tasks you're actually ready to delegate, and which to hold off on.
- No general "AI will change everything" content — if it doesn't change what you do with money this week, it doesn't run.
Who writes this
FinAgentHub is an independent, bootstrapped publication — not backed by a bank, a card network, or an AI lab, which means no vendor gets a better review because they bought an ad. Some product links are affiliate links; we say so plainly every time, and the reporting is the same either way. See the full affiliate disclosure for specifics.
